details

These 2 - 120' long runs of 30" CMP are immediately off a major roadway in a Denver suburb. Considering their location, being under a newly paved road, and the owner recently dealing with a major, expensive culvert failure, they moved quickly considering the condition of this pipe.

problem

The 30" CMP was deflected throughout with a rusted/missing invert throughout. If this culvert failed, although it would've been a shorter detour, a significant amount of traffic would've been detoured and more importantly, the budget would've taken another huge hit.

solution

26" Snap-Tite was selected to meet the structural needs and required flow capacity. Given the condition of the host pipe, the diameter of the liner was confirmed with a mockup of the liner dimensions, and smoothly lined on install day. Another great project by Edge Contracting!
